PTE Chairman lectures a workshop at Koya University

The chairperson of petroleum engineering department at KUST organised a workshop for lecturers at University of Koya under the title “Core-flooding laboratory investigation” on December 13, 2018. In this workshop Dr Hiwa Sidiq explained both steady and unsteady state permeability measurement techniques. He continues with his explanation to cover the procedure of core plug preparation and handling. Dr Hiwa also demonstrated to attendees how to operate permeability and porosity rigs, collect data and analysis them. There were four faculty members from petroleum department at Koya university attended his workshop.
