Petroleum Engineering Department Excursion to Bazian Powerplant

A group of senior and junior students of the College of Engineering, including petroleum and civil departments made a one-day tour to Bazian Power Plant (Qaiwan Group) in Bazian on Thursday, May 11^th.

In the beginning, the required safety instructions were given to the students and later on different departments of the power plant were introduced.

During this excursion, several units such as gas turbines (GTs), heat exchangers, fuel preparation, turbine combustion chambers, control room, GE generators, switchers, and water treatment and purification were visited, and the technical teams of the power plant extensively explained each unit.
